This form of Chinese Yoga reduces stress, increases flexibility, improves breathing, develops coordination, strengthens core muscles and gives you a peaceful, joyful feeling.  It also increases stamina.

The postures are graceful, allowing the body to expand and relax with the breath, similar to the stretching of dancers.  Slow, gentle rocking motions allow the muscles to relax without strain.  Internal energy (“chi”) starts to flow throughout the body, even during your first session.

This is a gentle form of Yoga.  Practicing on a regular basis will help prevent aches and pains and reduce physical and emotional tension.

Taoist Yoga includes standing, sitting and lying postures.  Classes also include the use of a small beach ball for stretching.
